Modern social knowledge, influenced by the developments of the Enlightenment and positivist perspectives, with its emphasis on empiricism and secular principles, has reduced the human being to a material and self-sufficient entity, while neglecting spiritual, monotheistic, and moral dimensions. This approach, which separates religion from social arenas, is incompatible with Islamic culture and values, leading to social crises and confusion in understanding the nature of humanity. In Islamic societies, this imported knowledge cannot effectively address social issues. Therefore, there is a need to reconstruct it based on the theoretical and normative foundations of the Holy Quran. The purpose of this article is to examine the role of the Holy Quran in reconstructing social knowledge through the critique of non-divine foundations and the presentation of a monotheistic and morality-centered framework that is consistent with Islamic culture and helps regulate social relations and structures. The fundamental question of this research is: how can the theoretical and normative foundations of the Quran reconstruct social knowledge so that it aligns with Islamic values and contributes to resolving social issues? The method of discussion is analytical-citational, proceeding through the interpretation of Quranic verses, citation of Islamic sources, and comparative critique of Western theories. The results generally indicate that the Holy Quran, through its critique of the secular foundations of modern social knowledge and the presentation of a monotheistic anthropology, reconstructs social knowledge. Moreover, the normative framework of the Quran, based on monotheism-centeredness (Tawḥīd-Miḥwarī) and morality-centeredness (Akhlāq-Miḥwarī), regulates social behaviors and relations in pursuit of human well-being and divine proximity.
